Completely adjustable for that perfect fit!I tried other slings without adjustable rings and they just didn't fit correctly (I'm small with a larger bust) and I wasted a lot of money.

Love that the tail of this sling is sewn - you don't have to deal with all the extra fabric hanging down.

I use mine mainly while traveling - works great if you have your baby in your lap for a flight - I have her in the sling and I feel much better knowing she is secured to me!Sometimes you have to modify it for this purpose-When I'm seated, I put her in the nursing position on me, in the sling, and the sling is around my waist instead of on one shoulder.Plus it doubles as a light blanket so less to carry on!I get the most compliments from flight attendants telling me what a great idea the sling is.

I don't leave home without this.It's small enough to fit in the diaper bag.

My daughter loves to be in it, especially the "kangaroo carry".

(More customer reviews)I was drawn in by the affordable price of $29 by the original manufacturer seller here on this site, but fell in love with the ease of use, quality, and gorgeous beauty of the fashionable fabric of this product. This a good ring sling for a beginning baby wearer! It is a hybrid sling with both some of the easier pouch sling qualities, but the adjustability of a ring sling. The partially closed tail makes it that you can't get the fabric twisted and tangled and makes it easy to thread. The sling edges is padded so the baby doesn't get red marks on his legs or head like the non-padded slings, but the padding is very light compared to other padded edged slings which normally are overwhelmingly thick and make you hot. The light padding actually goes through the rings unlike the padding of other padded slings which normally don't, making this sling as adjustable to as tightly small as you want to make it. Besides the light padding not being hot, the fabric was breathable for both the baby and me. Very important when you live in year long hot Florida like me.

I was torn between this sling and Hotslings, but after reading reviews and not wanting to deal with picking a sling size, I went with Balaboa. The strap is adjustable to make it as high or low as you want it to be. My son has loved it since he was a week old (22 inches, 8 pounds) and still loves it at 5 weeks. It is very comfortable to walk around in and I use it nearly everyday... to vacuum, do laundry, etc. We live in Japan, which is not stroller friendly, so this really has been a life saver. I've worn it nearly all day to the aquarium, park, grocery store, even to get my eyebrows waxed! Everyone I see raves about how cute and functional it is. Like the other review said, I've never worried about him falling out (and that's with me chasing after my toddler). We have a Baby Bjorn, which I used with my older son, but he never looked that comfortable in it.

If you're having a baby, or know someone who is, this is the perfect purchase. Babies want to be held, but moms need their hands free! Lugging around a car seat or dealing with a big stroller isn't always practical or convenient. The price is a deal, too!

(More customer reviews)I love this sling!I tried the Hotsling first and hated it--my son is a big guy for his age and getting him in was a struggle, and then he would be curled into a little ball because it was so cramped.Now, at two months and 25 and 3/4 inches long, he can still ride in the cradle carry when he wants a nap close to me.Great for carrying him around when he needs to be bounced but my arms are tired.We're still getting the hang of doing chores with him in it, but at least my arms are free to eat a snack.Easier on my back than the Baby Bjorn.Very easy to adjust, put on, and get baby into.My husband will wear it around the house because it is all black and relatively gender neutral, although he prefers the Baby Bjorn.

- The Moby wrap was able to be used the day we brought our preemie baby home from the hospital.
- The Moby wrap swaddles your baby snuggly to you.If your baby likes swaddling as much as our does, this is the baby carrier for you.
- It spreads the weight out evenly across your back and shoulders and feels much better for longer periods of time (in comparison to our Baby Bjorn).
- There are a variety of ways to wear your baby with this carrier.We have used it 4 different ways so far.Being able to pull the cloth completely over her so she can sleep soundly is a plus.The instructions are easy to follow and while it looks difficult to put on, it really is quite simple after you've practiced it 3 or 4 times.
- The Moby wrap is easy to clean with being machine washable and dryable and there are no parts that can be broken or lost.

What we don't like about the Moby wrap:
- If you plan on wearing your baby to go grocery shopping or other things out in public, you need to put it on before you leave the house.It can be difficult to put on in the car or in places where you do not feel comfortable with the wrap touching the floor (parking lot, public floor, etc.).This is not a big deal, but important to remember before you run out the door.During the cooler months, I put the Moby on, then my coat.

Bottom-line:The Moby wrap was an excellent purchase.Putting our daughter in it and walking around or bouncing on an exercise ball was one of the few ways to calm her during the height of her colic.Our daughter is now 5-months old and still enjoys the Moby.We expect to continue to use our Moby wrap for many more months.

I used a snugli front carrier until she was about six months old, then she got too heavy for it and the straps hurt me too much to use it anymore. This is so much more comfortable, once you get the hang of it, which really doesn't take long. Plus, there's no complicated straps to adjust, and it's easy to tighten/loosen it with the baby inside. I was ready to send it back after the first time I wore it, but I sent them an email and they gave me some pointers on how to adjust it comfortably, and now we use it everyday. Now, at ten months, I make the loop very small and put it under her arms so she can "walk" all by herself (much easier on your back since you don't have to bend over. The fabric is really beautiful and the quality is great(I've washed it twice).I get compliments whenever I wear it. Like I said, I wish I had this sling from the beginning beacause there are so many different ways to carry the baby in it, it really does grow with your child. I would really reccomend this to anyone expecting, it doesn't take much practice to wear it comfortably, but it does take some patience. Read the instructions on their website before you give up! It's worth it! P.S. I'm not particulary thin or short, but I still had to weave the padded part of the straps through the loop to make it snug enough, so this is plenty big for a larger-built person.

(More customer reviews)I have had this chair for almost 2 years now, I thought it is a good amount of time to come back and review it. It was easy to put together and holds up well under use. We have found that it isn't the most comfortable for people who are taller who have back trouble. The padding is fairly stiff and therefore doesn't conform to your body shape at all- just stays in it's own shape while you're in it. If we put a couch pillow (throw pillow- not large pillow!) where our lower lumbar area is, it makes the support much better for us. We also use a blanket on the top for some more head support. I'd have liked a bit more give in the cushion, but hey- it is durable, we have been able to work with it ok with the pillow/blanket additions for support. We don't use the ottoman, so I can't comment on that. We've spent hours in this chair from the time our little one was a newborn. The arms of the chair help hold a Boppy Pillow well if you're nursing

"This has been great! Both my husband and I can use it. I am 6'0" and 145 pounds and my husband is 6'4" and about 240 and is very muscular and both of us are able to use it. We used it when our baby was about a month, but it didn't support his head as much as we liked. We tried it again at 2 months and it was still the same thing, but a little better. By 3 months however, we could turn him so he could face out and look and it was great. He is 6 months now and still uses it. It has a nice feature where you slide a zipper and select the range of age so that they will fit perfect in it. We use it a lot for things like shopping. It is nice cause when he was 3 months we started to notice a flat spot on the back of his head so this came in handy to keep him off his back during the day. This one also has good padding for your shoulders."

My wife and were very excited about this carrier because it looks so comfortable and well made, but the adjustment system is very awkward. We could never get our baby to sit in it right. No matter what adjustments we made, she always seemed to sit very low and her arms were at uncomfortable angles. There are also a lot of adjustments to be made if we wanted to change the person wearing it.

"I recieved this product yesterday. I tested it out with my 2 month old boy as soon as I opened it. He immediately calmed down once in the pouch. I didn't realize at first that you need to wear the sling high on you. You need to be able to easily kiss your baby's forehead. It's the biggest thing Dr. Sears urges for this product, having learned that from watching one of his YouTube Safety videos. But it doesn't highlight that in the directions. The adjustable strap is only so long, but if you need to get the carrier higher on you (for you more petite peeps) it is perfectly fine to pull more fabric through the rings to get it as comfortable as possible for you and your baby. (Don't adjust strap while baby is in sling to prevent pinching.) He seems to mello out every time I place him in the sling. His neck is still unstable so I do keep one hand over his neck when moving around with it, atleast until he's a little older.

I love the design. Very fashionable and cute. I purchased the solid black color to savor my husband's masculinity for when he uses it, but I really do love the colorful ones with those beautiful patterns. Not to say that the black isn't cute and sleek in it's own right, because it is. The material is soft and the shoulder pad is thick and comfy.

Another thing I love about it is that unlike the other carrier I have(Infantino Front2Back Rider), with this one I can get him out of the sling easily and very quickly. A concern of mine was that I have chronic back problems, but surprisingly with this product my baby seems light and it doesn't agitate my back whatsoever. And the rings do not dig into my shoulders like I have seen on other reviews. Wearing the sling high and correctly should take care of those problems--be sure to read all the instructions before using. (There are demonstration videos on YouTube for how to place your baby for each type of carry. The manual instructions are good, but it's even more helpful to SEE t done.) Overall, I like this product and am glad I bought this one and not another brand or type of sling. I look forward to using it in the coming months."

I am just not a sling fan. I tried about every type of carrying device for my baby because she was so fussy. I got this because I read Dr. Sears fussy baby book. My baby was hyperalert from a very young age and by 3-4 months, I kid you not, she could get out of the sling, she would pull and rip at it and try to throw herself overboard. It was just not safe. Same thing with the Moby wrap(gift), it worked while she was younger, but not by the time she hit 3-4 months, which make these seem wasteful. Also with the recent stories of children getting positional asphyxia in these from their heads being in too tight of a c-shape, I am not sure they are worth it.

I tried the baby bjorn (gift) also when she was small and she loved it, but by around 4 months she wanted to ride forward, and for some reason she did not like riding forward in the bjorn.

I also tried and ultimately purchased an Ergo, that was the best fit for baby and me. She does ride forward but can easily turn to the side and see, she can also ride on the hip. When she gets bigger I can use it as a backpack and carry her on my back up to 40lbs. I did not buy the infant insert or use the ergo until she was about 4-5 months old. So I can't speak to how well that one works for small infants. I can say she is currently 7 months old and loves her ergo. I know I can't use the sling for her even now, because she will try to "escape" and fall out. She can't get out of the ergo even if something upsets her (tired, fussy, general baby meltdown) and when she does fall asleep her head rests on my chest in an upright position with a nice clear airway (unlike what was happening with some of those slings- although this sling was not specifically cited in the infant sling deaths at the time of this writing)

The sling was well made with nice soft fabrics and had a little storage pouch that was big enough for a few dollars or a pacifier to be tucked into it.
